    A lovely large plate from Vernon Kilns, made for the famous department store of Detroit, Hudson's (later Dayton-Hudson), featuring highlights of the Motor City. The centerpiece of the design is the "Skyline - Detroit, Michigan." It is surrounded by (clockwise from top):

    Ambassador Bridge
