(2) VINTAGE VERNON CALIF = HTF= Berry Bowls SILVER & PLATINUM RIM Orange Stripe

Description

This pair of wonderfully OLD Vernon (Kilns) California berry bowls have been stored away in a cupboard for decades!  Although very sweet, they're looking for a new home, preferably with some of their very close relatives!  After viewing EVERY Vernon pattern, this specific style and coloration was not found.  Rims display overlapping scallops and are decorated with what the back states is
PURE SILVER and PLATINUM
with
a subtle embossed dotted design beneath them.  The bright orange stripe adds to the MCM feel.  Mouth diameters measure 5 1/4" with the inside usable diameter roughly 3".   Both are in great condition with minor (and charming) age crazing. One has an UNDER THE RIM chip, barely visible from the top as shown in the second to last photo.  If this exact pattern is not already in YOUR cupboard, a contrast with some orange pieces would make a fun pairing!
