Whether you order from an individual or a firm in Norway the procedure is the same. When you order a bunad in Norway the embroidery is done first by someone who embroiders well, then it is most often sent to another person or the company who assembles the bodice and skirt to meet your measurements. All companies have those who embroider for them. Some of them also assemble the bunad, others have it done.
This bunad is beautifully embroidered in Norway and our professional bunad seamstress will assemble the bunad according to your  specifications. Depending on your size extra fabric is left in the seams so you can let it out later if and when needed.
We have been asked to provide this service for those who are unable to travel to Norway to get a bunad.
You will be asked for specific measurements and we write or talk back and forth. We can help you with purchasing the silver or shoes and a bunad shirt or blouse.
