    Description

    Hungarian folk dance skirt in the Szekely style, hand made for the Dancers Hungaria dance group of Detroit (now defunct).
    Green & black striped wool challis (?)—very fluid fabric but with weight.
    Formed of 3 layers/ruffles, with fabric folded on the underside to give extra weight and movement. 2 rows of narrow black velvet ribbon divide the ruffles. Black wool edging at hem extends to underside for extra weight.
    Closes with heavy hook & eye
