Additionally, it features a highpass filter for compressing higher frequencies and leaving lower frequencies uncompressed, an excellent way to tame transients while retaining a thick bottom end. The Cali76 Compact Bass compressor also features a Dry blend knob, so you can hit your compressor hard to beef up your mids and add sustain, then fold it under the uncompressed signal to keep your dynamics intact.
