RARE French Belle Epoque CLOVER Solid Silver XL Necklace Watch Guard Chain Antiq

ABOUT:
Awesome and scarcely seen long (2 2/3 feet of linear length) antique watch chain or guard chain for use as a necklace with reticulated links decorated with Art Nouveau clover leaves.  Originally a watch chain would make a great extra long necklace or bracelet if you wrap it over itself and add a clasp.  Note that it does not have a clasp anywhere to open it, it is the type you would slip over the head.  It does not fit double over the head and a pendant would have to have its own clasp or you'd open the loop of the pendant itself to attach it to the long chain which is fully closed.

NO MONOGRAMS.
Chain is 16 inches long from end to end doubled, so if you were to open the necklace (by using a tool to open one of the loops), it would stretch about 32 inches in linear length, so about 2 2/3 feet of chain! It weighs 15 grams.
MARKS:
No hallmarks found but tested and guaranteed solid silver.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned with some age to them so they are in estate condition.   Some surface wear and scratches, a few nicks but no deep dings. It presents beautifully I tried to give it a light polish and the faces shined up really nicely in the high relief areas showing their incredible detail, but it could probably have some tarnish cleaned up further if desired -  I like a little patina on my antique pieces as it makes the contours stand out.  I noticed while wearing it that sometimes the intricate links twist and it hangs up sometimes, but a simple twist straightens it out again.  Still a really awesome piece.
