Beautiful Vernonware coffee carafe by Vernon Kilns pottery in Vernon, California. Approximately 7.25" tall. Sunny yellow and brown plaid on a cream background, in the Organdie pattern.
Organdie was the first plaid made by Vernonware and was produced between 1937 and 1958.  Excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks, the colors are still bright and clear and the glaze is still glossy. Brown Bakelite handle and metal band around neck are all intact.
