VINTAGE 80'S SCHUTT NOPO RED DOT FOOTBALL HELMET FACEMASK - MAROON!!!

This auction is for a 1980's Schutt NOPO red dot football helmet facemask.

mask that was recoated.
This mask was kind of an experiment.  Maroon is a very difficult color to find in vintage masks, so I decided to see what a couple would look like if I had them dipped in the current powder coating instead of the preferable liquid PVC thicker coating.  The mask looks really nice, but very thin.  It looks so thin because back in the 80's a thinner gauge of steel was used on the masks than what is used on today's "Super Pro" masks.
Please notice that the red dot is placed correctly on the mask, in the exact color that Schutt used 35 years ago.  Something you will only find here...
There is no hardware included in this auction.
