Offered for sale is a Vintage Echt Bayerischer Sport-Hut Green Alpine Wool Hat with Feather and ten regional pins. Pins included are Canada with a deer head, Innsbruck with a deer and leaves, Köln/Dom with a picture of a castle, Loreley with a picture of a rocky landscape, Mission San Luis Obispo 1772, Alberta Banff with a crest, Chateau Gutsch on the top of Lucerne, Luzern with a pickaxe and a swiss cowbell, Titisee with and hat and leaves, and Liechtenstein with a flower and leaves. The inside of the hat is marked Echt Bayerischer Sport-Hut and the band is marked Licht Trachtenhaus U.S.A. and Made in West Germany 100% Wool. We cannot read the size, but we measured the perimeter at the top of the hat band and it was 23.625" or 60cm, placing this hat somewhere between 7-1/2 and 7-5/8 in US sizes. In good, gently worn condition.
