    . Mid century Modern serving platter by Vernon Ware of California
    . Pattern is "Show Stopper" Black background with central spiral pattern and firework design? to sides
    . Glazed
    . 13.5" x 10"
    . Manufactured between 1955 & 1956
    . In very good condition but shows signs of utensil marks on bottom & base of platter. Some "watermarks" on base that cannot be  removed by regular washing. Also some small manufacturer defects-white showing through glaze on underside
    . All flaws only noticeable when held to light. See last pictures
    . NO chips on rim. Large white areas on pictures are light bouncing off glaze
